Shooting Kitchen Photo Studio & Skylight

“The skylights are simply an amazing lighting tool that any photographer can use and appreciate”

– Len Irish,  photographer, client & friend

Two 12′ x 8′ skylights and six 8′ x 4′ windows with North and East exposures provide what has been called: Beautiful, consistent, diffused and uniform light. We also think they give our space it’s comfortable, light and airy feel. Ceiling heights range 12′ – 16′ allowing for a broad spectrum of shooting angles and vantage points. Over 2500 Square feet of kitchen and adjoining studio space are available for use in addition to separate office and seating areas.

“With service like this they will be banging your door down to work here…” – Anne Disrude, Food Stylist

A real Chef’s Kitchen designed for commercial production.

1_kitchenWe love food. We love hanging out in nice looking kitchens and cooking with high end gear. Working with a proper restaurant range, professional grade equipment and kitchen implements makes things easier, more efficient and more fun.  Forget your knives? Don’t worry, ours are razor sharp. We have outfitted the kitchen with the things we like to use and the items we’ve found most useful.  Everything is well organized and strategically placed, from prep bowls to silicone spatulas and zesters. Yes, we even have a zester…

The Shooting Kitchen was designed with commercial production in mind. We built and configured our cabinetry and appliances so that they can be easily customized for a fraction of the cost and time required for building a traditional set. Here is how it works: You give us some advance notice of the look you want, we get prices, order the materials you choose and and fabricate everything so that it’s ready for your shoot.  Panels are “snapped” in place over the existing structure for a perfect camera ready fit and finish.

Bring in any photo equipment you like and use ours, FREE

Annoyed when you have to rent your gear from the studio? We were, that’s why we encourage you to bring your own, rent from your preferred supplier or ask us to make arrangements for you.  The studio rental fees include the use of our grip kit (C-stands, clamps, flags, scrims, high rollers & auto-poles) and more.

We have the basics and think is bad form to charge clients for basic things like stands & tape… so we don’t!

If it is here, it is included.
